Reminders: Aviation Expo in
Puyallup in February, B-17 visit in June, Oshkosh in July, and AOPA fly-in
in August.
Our main event was WWII Marine Corps combat pilot Ray
Swalley. He regaled us with stories of his close calls in a wide variety
of aircraft, both in training situations and in combat. He was elected an
Honorary member.
Our Know Your Warbird segment was presented by Kirstan
Norris. She explained the perspective of a new warbird owner, as she and
husband Vic have owned their IAR 823 for just two years.
Ron thanked the membership for
their attendance and invited all to join our no-host luncheon in the Wings
Café and to attend the board meeting at 1:30.
There being no further business,
the meeting was adjourned at 12:25.
